After 12 weeks of creator testing, BetterSpeak recorded $524K in incremental organic revenue during a 19-day breakout, alongside 41.78M campaign views.

BetterSpeak had a product people paid for and a content operation that couldn't move the needle.
The team was already posting daily, publishing vocabulary lists, app demos and "best language apps" videos. The content was educational, but gave viewers little reason to keep watching or come back. Most videos stalled at a few hundred views.
Organic revenue sat at around $31K a day, with approximately 4,900 organic installs daily. Nothing the team posted was meaningfully changing either number.
The challenge was to turn organic content into a growth channel that could actually move the revenue line, rather than another marketing activity running alongside paid acquisition.
Primary objective | Grow organic revenue. Move the daily revenue line, not just the view count.
Supporting metrics | Organic installs per day and weekly views, used as an early indicator of content performance.
Before making a video, we scored candidate markets on demand, competition, content fit and creator supply. We selected the market with the most room to grow, then recruited Spanish-speaking creators who could tell an English-learning story naturally.
Over 12 weeks, we published 1,402 posts from 425 unique videos across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Snapchat, averaging 120 to 160 posts per week.
We tested a range of formats, including vocabulary content, app demos, parenting-style skits, get-ready-with-me videos and a character format called "Beak".
Beak featured a parrot tutor correcting a creator's English mid-conversation, turning an English lesson into a piece of entertainment that naturally demonstrated the product.
When Beak started breaking out in September, we stopped spreading our bets and focused on what was working.
We produced more variations with new hooks, different creators and new English mistakes for the parrot to correct.
Weekly views climbed from 696K to 9.3M, then 16.5M over two weeks.
The format also inspired a product decision. BetterSpeak built the parrot tutor into the app itself, and by 18 September, creators could tell viewers that the feature was available to use.
The breakout produced a substantial increase in organic revenue and acquisition activity.
Organic revenue | $1.12M in total organic revenue between 7 and 25 September, including $524K above the previous 32-day run-rate.
Daily revenue | Increased from $31.2K to $58.8K, an 88% improvement. The best single day reached $116.9K.
Organic installs | Increased from 4,909 to 6,569 per day, a 34% increase, representing approximately 31.5K incremental organic installs during the breakout period compared with baseline.
Campaign reach | 41.78M total views, including 37.2M in the final three weeks, alongside 2.08M engagements.
Creator growth | 13.8K new followers across campaign creator accounts.
The client's 30-day organic revenue run-rate increased from approximately $961K to $1.73M.
The incremental revenue and install figures compare the 19-day breakout with the preceding 32-day organic run-rate. They represent observed uplift against that baseline rather than direct attribution of every additional install or dollar to individual creator posts.
The biggest lesson was that a character format, where the app has a real job inside a story people already enjoy watching, worked better than simply explaining the product.
Beak the parrot corrected a creator's English mid-sentence, teaching the lesson inside the joke. Viewers got the entertainment they came for while seeing exactly how the product could help them.
Once the format started working, we had something we could repeat and improve. New hooks, different creators and fresh scenarios gave us more ways to build on the same idea.
That single format helped take weekly views from under 700K to 16.5M, while daily organic revenue rose 88% during the breakout.
BetterSpeak built the parrot tutor into the app itself, bringing the product experience in line with what people were seeing in the content.
Following the breakout, the client expanded the campaign rather than continuing to test at the same scale.
